goodness of Ayurveda, the guarantee
of health and happiness for a lifetime,
from world’s first ISO certified

Palakkad district of Kerala was established
in memory of Sri Chatharu Nair, the
renowned name in Ayurvedic Pediatrics
and a legend in his own life time
(1874 – 1967), with a common
goal in mind “a healthy new
generation”. At CNS Ayurveda

of Ayurveda. The treatment methods
in this hospital have attained international
acclaim.
The Chief Physician of the hospital
is veteran Bala Chikitsa expert, Vaidyan
Gangadharan Nair, a disciple and great
grand son-in-law of Late Chatharu
Nair. There was a common usage and
belief among the people, in the case
of children’s ailments “Daivam
Paathi, Chatharu Nair Paathi”
(God and Chatharu Nair will contribute
equally to the healing in critical
stages).
Sri Gangadharan Nair, the driving
force behind this hospital, has been
serving the sick since 1951. Dr. K.P.
Manikandan BAMS, PGCCH, the Chief
Executive of the hospital, is the
son and descendant of Vaidyan Gangadharan
Nair. Sri Gangadharan Nair, during
the past five-and-half decades of
his service to Ayurveda, has given
relief from pain to a number of patients
including children.
